DUBOIS- "Breaking Amish" star Chapel Schmuker-Peace had a preliminary hearing at Magistrate Patrick Ford's office Friday.

Friday's hearing stemmed from an undercover drug deal in January of 2015.

Peace was recently charged for the 2015 incident in March, during a drug sweep in DuBois called 'Operation Ice Storm.'

Peace is known for appearing on the first two seasons of 'Breaking Amish.'

For the 2015 drug deal, Peace was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and criminal conspiracy.

On January 15, 2015, Peace was the driver of a vehicle who met undercover police in the parking lot of Hoss's in DuBois. She and her passenger, Brian (unknown last name), sold the officer a Tylenol container containing nine stamp bags of heroin.

In January of 2016, police say Peace tried to pass off someone else's drug-free urine as her own at the probation office in Punxsutawney.

Peace also was arrested last July on a bench warrant and found to be in possession of heroin.

Her bail was set at $10,000 today.

"I thought the bail was appropriate based on her history and other factors involved with the type of drug and the circumstances of the charges," David Gorman, deputy attorney, said.

Peace is currently in SCI Cambridge Springs serving a one -two-year sentence out of Jefferson County.
