MILESBURG -- Students from Wingate Elementary school spread some holiday cheer at the Eagle Valley Personal Care home Friday morning in Milesburg.

The second graders sang Christmas carols to the residents and also gave out handmade Christmas cards to their audience members.

Residents said it means a lot to have visitors, especially this time of year.

“Well, they think we’re special, and even though we’re old, they didn’t forget about us,” said resident Jane Bennett.

“We really appreciate it. We think that’s so nice. We both get something out of it,” added fellow resident Betty Lazar.

Students from Howard Elementary also visited the residents a few days before.
