GoFundMe created to help family with funeral expenses after house fire claimed 3 lives

A GoFundMe page has been created to help pay for the funeral expenses of three people who died in a Clearfield County house fire Monday morning.

Authorities say flames broke out at a house on Jury Street in Lawrence Township Monday just after 2 a.m.

Investigators say 51-year-old Mary Erickson and 6-year-old Shania Watson were found dead in the home.

Two other victims were taken to a hospital, including 7-year-old Angel Erickson, who died Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

A family member who created the GoFundMe page says the family cannot afford burial expenses.

“Our family is completely devastated and heartbroken and still in shock but I'm doing my part to make sure we can say farewell,” Ariel Erickson Montero, the fundraiser’s organizer writes.

Authorities ruled the cause accidental, saying an overloaded electrical circuit started the fire and the house did not have any smoke detectors.
