Reports say the man who was arrested Tuesday in the death investigation of former Pittsburgh Penguins' hockey player Adam Johnson has been released on bail.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified by British authorities, was held on suspicion of manslaughter.
Johnson died last month after being cut in the neck by the skate of an opposing player during an EIHL game between the Nottingham Panthers and the Sheffield Steelers.
Several reports have indicated that the other player, Matt Petgrave, who was involved in the on-ice incident that led to Johnson's tragic passing is the person who was taken into custody by police.

British authorities announced Tuesday that an arrest has been made in the death investigation of former Pittsburgh Penguins' hockey player Adam Johnson.
Johnson died last month from injuries suffered in a tragic incident while playing for the Nottingham Panthers in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).
Johnson was playing against the Sheffield Steelers on October 28th when his neck was cut by the skate of one of the opposing players.
Following his tragic death, video surfaced online of the incident which spurred controversy over whether or not the opposing player, Matt Petgrave, intended to harm Johnson.
Detectives with the South Yorkshire Police Department say that a man has been taken into custody on suspicion of manslaughter.
Police did not identity the suspect but several reports indicate that Petgrave is the man being held in police custody.
Investigators noted that a "post-mortem examination" confirmed that Johnson died from a fatal neck injury.
