Venango County, PA — Authorities in Venango County say an Oil City man is behind bars following an investigation into the rape and murder of a woman who had been reported missing last month.

Police say the body of Marcy Suzette Nellis was found along a bike trail on the morning of March 27th, after she had been reported missing the previous day.

Investigators say an autopsy determined that Nellis had been strangled and sexually assaulted.

Police say DNA from the crime scene eventually led investigators to arrest 59-year-old David Allen Bosley.

Authorities say Bosley was taken into custody on Thursday and faces several charges, including homicide, rape, aggravated indecent assault, kidnapping and abuse of a corpse.
